Patna,(BiharTimes): The court of designated vigilance
judge, Ajit Kumar Sinha on Monday rejected the
anticipatory bail petition of former Speaker of Bihar
Assembly and at present Congress Legislature Party
leader Sadanand Singh and 15 others in a case related
to alleged irregularities in appointments of clerks
in the Assembly between 2000 and 2005. |
The court turned down the bail plea after the
counsel of the State Vigilance Investigation Bureau
opposed their petitions. The Bureau is probing the
case.
However, Sadanand had alleged that it was political
conspiracy as he refused to join the BJP.
