Patna,(BiharTimes): On the eve of the two-day Regional Conference
of the Planning Commission in Patna its Deputy Chairman Montek Singh
Ahluwalia and his wife Isher Ahluwalia on Sunday enjoyed a sail
on Ganga here on board a special vessel. |
N K Singh, Janata Dal (United) MP and former bureaucrat
who have worked with Montek, besides, Bihar CM's secretary
S Siddhartha and Patna DM Sanjay Kumar accompanied them.
N K Singh is also a former deputy chairman of Bihar State
Planning Board.
The Ahluwalia couple arrived at the Gandhi Ghat round 4 PM and
boarded the special vessel which took them midstream. The enjoyed the
trip for over two hours and got an opportunity to watch dolpin in
the confluence of Gandak and Ganga.
Earlier, there were reports that they would board M V Ganga Vihar,
the floating restaurant, but later it was decided that they would travel by
special vessel. Montek captured the scenes, especially of the sunset, in his camera.
Later Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hosted dinner for the couple at his residence.
