Patna, Nov 4 (IANS) The central government will give a helicopter and an additional battalion of paramilitary forces to Bihar to battle Maoists, Home Secretary R.K. Singh said Friday.
Singh, on a two-day visit to Bihar, said the helicopter would help Bihar to launch intensive combing operations against the guerrillas.
"The central government will bear the cost of helicopter," he said after holding discussions with senior officials.
