Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday took a U-turn from his Thursday comment on Team Anna.

Making a volte face on draft of The Bihar Lokayukta Bill 2011 he said he would appreciate suggestions from any individual, team or groups on it.

Talking to mediapersons on the sidelines of his Janata Durbar at Maharaja Stadium in Bettiah Nitish said, his government would appreciate suggestions or opinions from any individual, team or groups on constituting a strong Lokayukta.

Though on Thursday he strongly denounced Arvind Kejriwal and asked him to learn the art of maintaining restrain, on Friday Nitish said that he did not harbour any grudge against any group or team on any matter. The proposed Lokayukta would have its special investigation wing, he added.

This was the significant departure from his statement made a day earlier in which he said that he did not need any certificate from anyone on fight against corruption.

Now the chief minister is saying that the draft of the Lokayukta Bill discussed by the state cabinet on Tuesday was not final.

It remained a mystery as to what prompted Nitish to change his stand on Team Anna. After all, it was he who a few months ago publicly talked of seeking the help of Justice Santosh Hegde of Team Anna on drafting of Lokayukta Bill. But on Thursday uttered that he never said any such thing. Again on Friday he took a U-turn and said that the draft is not final.
