Nitish speaks again on Lokayukta

Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after stating that he has no time to indulge in verbal debate with Team Anna the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday spoke once again on draft of The Bihar Lokayukta Bill 2011.

He said that a three-member ministerial team led by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi would fine-tune the draft for the purpose before placing it in the state Assembly.

Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of Janata Darbar he said state’s Law Minister Narendra Narayan Yadav and Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary would be the other two members of the committee.

The chief minister said that an all party meeting had been called on November 26 to examine the draft of the Lokayukta Bill. After intensive discussions on the draft and suggestions from the ministerial group, final touches would be given to the draft for tabling the proposed Bill.

What is strange is that Nitish Kumar is speaking almost everyday on Lokayukta Bill, yet he is saying that he does not want to get dragged into any such controversy.
