Renowned Hindi writer Kumar Vimal passes away

Patna,(BiharTimes): Noted Hindi literateur Kumar Vimal died after protracted illness at a private hospital in Patna on Saturday. He was 80 and is survived by his wife, four daughters and two sons.

Vimal was the former Vice Chancellor of Nalanda Open University. Besides he had served as the Chairman of Bihar Public Service Commission and Bihar Intermediate Education Council.

Several of his poems were translated into English, Bangla, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu and Kashmiri.

He authored Mulya and Mimansa. Angaar and Sagrmatha are his books on poems.
