CM flags off Radio Taxi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Nine days before flagging off Advani’s Rath Yatra Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday waved green to inaugurate a radio taxi service in Patna for use by local citizens and tourists.
According to the state Tourism Minister Sunil Kumar Pintu the service, being operated by private companies, will make available taxies to people on a phone call. The users may pay by their credit or debit cards.

The minister said all taxis would be equipped with GPS for its tracking and will provide facilities like immobilizer, panic button, newspapers, music system etc. A total 50 taxies will be run for the service.

The taxi will charge Rs 200 for four kilometres, which many residents of Patna feel is quite costly as reserved cars are now available at much cheaper rate in the city now.
