Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after the Executive Secretary of the former President, A P J Abdul Kalam, sent a mail clarifying his position on Nalanda International University, former bureaucrat and member of the Mentor Group, N K Singh, has sent his reply to senior journalist, K K Singh, who had written an Open Letter to Amartya Sen.

 N K Singh’s message said that “I have seen your open letter addressed to Prof Amartya Sen and would certainly bring its contents to the notice of the next meeting of the governing board.”
As reported earlier K K Singh had sent a letter to Amartya Sen in which he expressed anguish over the state of affairs in the Nalanda International University.
Only on Monday former President Kalam’s Executive Secretary sent a reply stating that the latter is no more involved with the NIU.
Now, N K Singh has assured that he would raise the issue. This shows the seriousness of the issue raised by BiharTimes.
