Patna,(BiharTimes): Dipak Kumar, a student of Class X of DAV School, Khagaul
was crushed to death and his friend Abhijit, student of Class IX, was
seriously injured when they came under the wheels of a bus belonging to
their own school on Friday. The two were travellng in the motor cycle and the
incident took place near R P S More.
While police said that their motor cycle skidded others said that it was hit
by the speeding bus. Abhijit was rushed to a private hospital.
Local residents strongly protested the incident.
This is the second incident involving school bus. Only a day earlier
the bus of St Joseph School knocked down a 60 year old woman who
was returning home after morning walk.
This year alone about a dozen people have lost their lives in bus
accidents in Patna. Most of these are school buses and the incidents
occur in the morning hours when there is mad rush to reach the school,
