Bihar Diwas celebrated in Qatar

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Qatar Chapter of Indian Association of Bihar and Jharkhand and Bihar Foundation organized Bihar Diwas celebration in Doha on April 13.
According to the Press Release issued by the Association the Tourism Minister of Bihar, Sunil Kumar Pintu and Minister of Food and Consumer affairs, Shyam Rajak addressed the gathering through phone.

The founder President of the Association, Shakeel Ahmed Kakvi, raised the demand of direct flight from Gulf countries to Bihar and constitution of a separate Ministry for NRB as in Kerela and other states.
The two Ministers assured that issue would be communicated to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Shakil Ahmed Kakvi further said the motive behind celebrating Bihar Diwas is to bring all the people of Bihar origin around the world on one platform. He congratulated Nitish Kumar for giving a day to Biharis as Bihar Diwas, where they can forget all other identities except one that is Proud to be Bihari Indian.
Praising the support of Government of Bihar and Tourism Department for the arrangements made for recent visit of Indian Business delegation from Qatar to Bihar one among the delegate Hassan Chougule mentioned “we became real ambassador of Bihar to Qatar”.
Azim Abbas who recently visited Bihar along with six-member team of Indian businessmen to Bihar said, “Nitish Kumar has changed the perception of Bihar not only within India but also among Indians living abroad.”
M S Bukhari , member of Indian Business delegate to Bihar added, “Bihar is on the path to progress and it is visible everywhere whether it is infrastructure, law and order or business activity.”
Syed Abdul Hye said “My recent visit to Bihar had changed my perceptions.
Habib-un-Nabi, member of Indian Business delegation, also spoke on the occasion and praised the efforts made by the Bihar government.
One of the patrons of IABJ Aqeel Ahmed lashed out at the Indian media for always projecting a negative image of Bihar.
Chief Gust of the Bihar Diwas Function M R Qureshi, First secretary of Embassy of India said Bihar had a glorious past. He assured all help for community developmental programme in Qatar.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were the Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar His Excellency Dedy Saiful Hadi, outgoing QP engineer and patron of IABJ Ashok Kumar Sinha, P R Coordinator in the ministry of interior Faisal Hudawi, Khalid Hassan AL Shammari, Corp. Ali Ambar Al Khulafi of Ministry of Interior,state of Qatar .
