Rajnath blames Centre for abduction of DM in Chhattisgarh

Patna,(BiharTimes): Blaming the Congress for what he said the worst crises the country is facing in the recent years former national president of the BJP, Rajnath Singh, held the Centre responsible for the abduction of a District Magistrate by Maoists in Chhattisgarh. Incidentally, the state is being ruled by the BJP.

Addressing a function organized by the state BJP at Shri Krishna Memorial Hall to celebrate the birth anniversary of Veer Kuer Singh he said the Centre policies had resulted in severe economic crisis, growing income disparity among people, and increasing threat to internal security due to Maoist activities etc.


He said the Congress party was responsible for crisis of character and culture, terrorism, recurrent diplomatic failures and persistent price rise. He also said that people had become disillusioned with political class as politicians don’t do what they say.


Among those who addressed it were deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, Rajya Sabha member and party’s national spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy, state BJP chief Dr C P Thakur, ministers Nand Kishore Yadav, Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Ramadhar Singh, former state BJP chief and MP Radha Mohan Singh and a host of MLAs.
