State cabinet’s nod to AICTE norms for retirement of engineering college teachers

Patna,(BiharTimes): The state cabinet on Tuesday decided to increase the retirement age of teachers for engineering and polytechnic colleges in Bihar from 62 to 65 years.
According to principal secretary of state cabinet and co-ordination department Ravi Kant, in accordance with the provisions of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), the state cabinet decided to increase the retirement age of teachers of engineering college and polytechnic institution from 62 to 65 years.

The cabinet also gave its nod to Bihar Family Benefit Scheme with provision for payment of Rs 20,000 as compensation to those who die in accident.
