Patna,(BiharTimes): The Saurabh mystery remains unsolved in Patna gang rape case. The sixth accused in the girl gang rape case, Dinesh, who was arrested from his native village Sakatpur in Darbhanga district on Wednesday, denied that his name is Saurabh. He told the police on Thursday that he was not Saurabh and that Sushant, the flat owner, and the real Saurabh allegedly raped the girl after threatening to circulate her CD through MMS and on the internet. | Dinesh, who was a domestic-help of Sushant Paswan, is ready to identify the real Saurabh. The girl was blackmailed by Sushant and Saurabh, he added. A police officer conceded that the arrest of real Saurabh would not be easy for the police. City SP Jayant Kant said efforts are on to identify the real Saurabh. However, Dinesh said that he was called as Saurabh by some of the boys on that fateful day and that he could not understand why they did so. He said he could not prevent the gang-rape by the boys as he was the servant of the house. The name Saurabh has become a mystery of a sort with Janata Dal (United) MLA from Barh, Gyanendra Singh Gyanu, even filing a case against a Hindi news-portal for publishing that his son, Saurabh, was involved in the incident. With one more accused yet to be arrested demand for speedy trial of all the accused has gathered momentum. Women’s groups have sought the speedy trial of all those involved in the case as it happened in the case of a Japanese tourist, who was raped by an auto-driver of Bodh Gaya a couple of years back. In that case the victim got justice within a few weeks and the driver got punished. “If it can happen in case of a Japanese victim why can not it happen in case with the girl of Patna. Here it took weeks for the case to be known and that too after so much protest by women’s groups,” one of them asked.
