Complaint lodged against Janata Dal (United) MLA

Patna,(BiharTimes): A police complaint was lodged against Janata Dal (United) MLA from Thakurganj in Kishanganj district, Naushad Alam, for allegedly demanding money from a contractor.

According to the Superintendent of Police, Ranjeet Kumar Mishra, the complaint was lodged with Kolikot police station by Amrendra Kumar and Dinesh Kumar, the two employees of a contractor Ravindra Kumar. They charged the JD(U) MLA with demanding money.

The SP said he had asked Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Poonam Kumari to probe the matter.

On the other hand Alam too has also lodged a complaint against the contractor charging the latter with making baseless allegation against him for exposing corruption in construction works by the contractor, the SP said.
