Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that he was against comparing Bihar with any state as every state has the right to boast of its progress and development.
When asked by the media-persons about the RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat’s rating Bihar above Gujarat in good governance he said he was not a person who became happy when somebody showered praise on him or become nervous when someone criticized him.

Though the RSS chief reportedly praised the performance of Bihar while interacting with foreign correspondents last week, the Sangh Parivar later hotly denied that he had ever said such thing.
Bhagwat‘s statement came as a surprise because only a few weeks back he criticized Nitish and openly backed Narendra Modi over the issue of prime ministerial candidate of the NDA. Nitish, in an interview to Economic Times on June 19, called for a secular NDA candidate for the post of PM.
Though Nitish had a very cordial relationship with the Sangh Parivar and even Narendra Modi till 2010, of late he has been maintaining distance with them. Only a few years back he even shared dais with the then RSS chief K Sudarshan in Patna and had no problem in publicly shaking hands with Narendra Modi in May 2009.
