Patna,(BiharTimes): Activists of the CPI(M-L) on Thursday opened a road for public use on the land of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) in Bhajanpur village under Forbesganj sub-division of Araria district. This road was closed by local authorities after the police firing which led to the killing of four Muslims on June 3 last year.

Reports said that the party workers carried traditional weapons like bows and arrows, spears and tridents. They also staged demonstration in the village to protest denial of justice to the families of those killed in the police firing.
According to the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Vikas Kumar the CPI ML workers levelled the road with soil before throwing it open for public use. However, the agitation passed off peacefully.
