          Patna,(BiharTimes): A 21-member parliamentary delegation from Pakistan led by   the Senate leader and Secretary General of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party,   Jahangir Badr, had a hectic schedule in Patna on Saturday. The delegation   members met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, attended various other function and   paid a visit to Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Public Library. Thanking the   Pakistani delegation for visiting Bihar during their visit to India to   strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries and its people Nitish called   the people of Pakistan and India as brothers and sisters.

        Badr said that he and his fellow visitors were happy to get an opportunity to   visit Bihar and lauded the prevailing atmosphere of peace and communal harmony   in the state.
 
 He appreciated the leadership quality of Nitish and   lauded the recent developments in the state. He said members of Pakistani   parliamentary delegation, which consists of 13 MPs of the ruling PPP, would tell   their countrymen about the achievements of Bihar and would like them to emulate   the hardwork of the people of the state for their prosperity.
 
 He extended   invitation to Nitish to visit Pakistan and its four provinces and share his   experience with the people. Nitish accepted the invitation and may visit it in   coming November or December, provided it get clearance from Ministry of External   Affairs.
 
 Another Senator Mohammad Adeel extended invitation to Nitish on   behalf of the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif (of Pakistan Muslim League)   and the Chief Ministers and Governors of all four provinces and said that his   visit and interaction with the Pakistani leaders would enable them to adopt   measures taken by him to eradicate corruption.
 
 The Bihar chief minister   also informed them about the name of a village called Pakistan in Purnea   district of Bihar. All the Muslims of the village migrated to Pakistan during   partition. As the relationship between Hindus and Muslims was very cordial the   local villagers named the village, Pakistan.
 
 In Khuda Bakhsh Library the   director, Imtiaz Ahmad, presented a brief history of the library to the   Pakistani delegation.
