Suspended JD(U) MPs accuse Nitish of fudging figures

Patna,(BiharTimes): Two suspended Janata Dal (United) MPs on Thursday accused the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar of fudging figures to falsely claim that Bihar has made a good progress.

Lok Sabha MP Mangani Lal Mandal and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha, released a pamphlet at a conference of the Bihar Nav Nirman Manch, which sought to debunk the state government’s “Susashan” (good governance) claims.

Mandal and Kushwaha, who are convenors of Bihar Nav Nirman Manch and its campaign committee respectively, also released a report of the CAG for the last financial year.

Coming down heavily on the rampant corruption and loot of the state exchequer the two MPs said that tall claims of development is being made to hide massive scams and spurt in crime in the state.

A former JD(U) MP Arun Kumar was also present on the occasion.
