New Delhi, Feb 1 (IANS) The Supreme court Wednesaday set aside a Patna High Court order quashing the election of Janata Dal-United (JD-U) Lok Sabha member Manghni Lal Mandal from Jhanjharpur constituency.
An apex court bench headed by justice R. M. Lodha also imposed a cost of Rs.100,000 on petitioner Bishnu Geo Bhandari, who had contended that Mandal had not disclosed the assests of his wife and children while filing his nomination. |
