Patna,(BiharTimes): The state budget for 2012-13 fiscal would be presented on February 24. This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday.
Talking to mediapersons after holding a meeting with the stakeholders ahead of the presentation of the budget, Modi, who also holds the finance portfolio, said the Economic Survey of Bihar would be presented in the state Assembly on February 22. |
He said that the state government had received more than 100 suggestions on the budget via e-mail and other medium.
Even Biharis living in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany have sent certain suggestions for the budget and efforts would be made to incporate them.
He said the state's plan size for 2012-13 would be proposed at Rs 28,000 crore and the formality for obtaining the Planning Commission’s approval on the subject would be completed in April.
