GoAir employees get bail, MLA’s action decried

Patna,(BiharTimes): The court on Thursday granted bail to two GoAir employees, duty officer Ronit Jha and customer service executive officer, Devanand Yadav, who were arrested by police on Wednesday on the charge of disallowing ailing Janata Dal (United) legislator, Damodar Singh, to board a flight to Delhi on Tuesday evening.

Now it is being transpired that the MLA and his men reached the airport late, just an hour before the departure of the flight and were without complete documents required for the travelling of ailing passenger. They resorted to strong arm tactic and lodged an FIR, it is alleged.

Meanwhile, Ronit Jha’s father, who is himself a Janata Dal (United) leader strongly criticized the action of the party MLA and his relatives. He said that he is proud of his son who stood by the law.

This is the first time that an airline employees have been arrested on the plea that they did not allow passengers to board. The employees of various airlines are upset over this misuse of power by the MLA and his men.
