Bihar needs intellectual investment too: M J Akbar

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Editorial Director of India Today M J Akbar said that there was a need for both intellectual as well as private capital investment in Bihar if it wants to pursue the path of sustainable development.

Taking part in the concluding day of the Global Summit on Changing Bihar on Sunday he said Bihar had for long languished as the backward region with even the people and intellectuals losing hope for a turn around. However, the situation has indeed changed for better now.
There is still a huge requirement for intellectual investment as well as capital investment to sustain development that should benefit not one generation, but for ten generations at least, the noted journalist said.
He appreciated the work done by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi for leading the state on the path of economic recovery and development.
