Nitish refuses to comment on Karnataka BJP crisis

Patna,(BiharTimes): Unlike Janata Dal (United) chief, Sharad Yadav, the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday refused to make any comment on the BJP’s decision to replace the Karnataka Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda with Jagadish Settar saying that it was an internal matter of the BJP.

Talking to newsmen here he said it is an internal matter of the BJP and the JD(U) has nothing to do with it. He said his party has no stakes in Karnataka.

Only on Sunday the JD(U) national President Sharad Yadav had criticized the BJP for making Gowda a scapegoat for keeping its flock together for the presidential polls.Unlike party spokesman Shivanand Tiwary, the chief minister also parried a question on senior BJP leader L K Advani heaping praise on the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and alleging that certain forces were maligning the latter for vested interests.
