CPI ML questions state govt claims of 13 per cent growth

Patna,(BiharTimes): The CPI ML has questioned the growth rate of 13 per cent of the Bihar government.

Its politburo member, Ram Jatan Sharma, on Sunday said that the figure neither pertained to industrial nor agriculture development, but was based merely on service sector.

Addressing the 10th Patna Town convention of the party he argued that the growth rate in irrigation was zero and said this model could never lead to all round development of the state.

Expressing concern over rampant loot of public money he claimed that corruption had been institutionalized during the last seven years rule of the Nitish government.

Commenting on the agriculture road map designed as a vehicle of development by the state government, he said instead of sharecroppers, the road maps served the interests of landlords and feudal forces.
