No arrest in Brahmeshwar murder case as accusing finger pointed towards JD(U) MLA
Patna,(BiharTimes): More than 60 hours have passed since the June 1 early morning killing of Brahmeshwar Singh, alias Mukhiyaji, in Ara, police have failed to arrest any one in the case.
What is more surprising is that prima facie the police are unofficially maintaining that it was a political murder and had nothing to do with involvement of members of ultra-Left organizations against whom Ranvir Sena had launched its bloody campaign.
Bhojpur Police are taking into account the reported statement of the grandson of Brahmeshwar Singh in a TV interview. He alleged the role of a ruling party MLA (Sunil Pandey) in the killing. If it is true than it is more tragic as the said MLA was alleged to be closely associated with Ranvir Sena himself.
