Two MBBS students of IGIMS injured in firing

Patna,(BiharTimes): Two first year medical students of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences were shot at and injured on its campus here on Thursday night.

 

According to police unidentified gunmen shot at the MBBS first year students Rohit Lal and Ajeet Vidyarthi when they were taking a stroll on the campus.

The incident occurred when a group of anti-socials objected to their walking and one of them took out a pistol and fired at them, police said.

They were taken to the emergency ward of the institute where their condition was stated to be out of danger.

This is the first batch of MBBS in IGIMS and the incident sent a shock wave among the students.
