Bihar Police to have separate wings of law, order and investigation

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar Police will now have separate wings of law and order and investigation.
Speaking on the occasion Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Tuesday that it would prove to be a milestone in the history of the security force.

He said seperation of law and order and investigation would strengthen both wings of the organisation and would help bring down crime in the state and improve the overall law and order situation.

In the first phase the mechanism has been launched in 23 police stations in Patna district The chief minister claimed that this exercise would help provide better policing and timely justice. Thrust should, in particular, be given on speedy disposal of land dispute cases.
