Where has scientific investigation gone, Siddiqui on blademan’s havoc

Patna,(BiharTimes): Leader of the Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, on Wednesday ridiculed the chief minister’s claim of introducing scientific investigation by stating that, if a blademan wreaking havoc in a particular area of Patna for the last many days could not be nabbed, what type of technology is Nitish Kumar talking about.

He said the common man in Patna City are living under fear all the time. They are not stepping out of their homes. There is panic everywhere. Mothers are asking their daughters not to venture out. Almost everyday, someone is slashing people with a blade. What kind of system Nitish is he talking about? People have lost faith on the police.

Lashing out at the chief minister Siddiqui said police are detaining innocent people everyday in the name of arresting the culprit. If they cannot catch the criminal, the police should stop arresting the wrong people.

The former RJD minister said that if the police cannot crack a single case in a particular area, what will happen if there is a terrorist activity in the state? Are the police prepared to tackle such a situation? He asked.

He alleged that law and order situation in the state is on the verge of collapse, yet tall claims are being made.
