Another Darbhanga man arrested, but in Saudi Arabia

Patna,(BiharTimes): Yet another person from Darbhanga has been arrested. But that not by the police in India, but in Saudi Arabia.

The family of a 35-year-old engineer in the district is at a loss over reports of his arrest in Saudi Arabia three days ago.

Faseed Mahmood, a resident of Badh Samaila village, was living in Saudi Arabia since 2006. His father, Dr Firoz Ahmad, is in-charge of the Benipatti primary health centre in Madhubani.

“We have learnt from our friends and relatives that Faseed was arrested from Jubail in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on May 13 for his alleged involvement in some terror activities. How can a person, who has never done anything wrong throughout his school days or college life, get involved in terrorism? We tried to get in touch with him but failed,” Ahmad said.

Faseed was working with Eram Engineering Corporation in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, after obtaining BTech from an engineering college at Bhatkal in Karnataka.

The Bangalore Police recently arrested Kafeel Akhtar from his house at Badh Samaila village 5 in connection with the 2010 explosion at Chinnaswamy Stadium.
