Lalu seeks ouster of Nitish govt

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad gave a call to the people to overthrow the tainted Nitish Kumar regime.

Addressing a public meeting at Qila ground in Jagdishpur, Bhojpur district, organized by the party as part of Veer Kuer Singh Vijayotsava Samaroh, he said the state was reeling under corruption and misrule of the NDA government and the people were fed up with their present political masters and desperately wanted a change of guard.

Slamming the NDA government for “corruption and misrule” in Bihar he said the law and order situation has deteriorated alarmingly as reflected in surging figures of crime. “Where have all the money of NRHM gone. All the funds have been looted,” he said.

He alleged that bureaucracy and police were calling the shot and the importance of people’s representatives has receded.

He said Nitish Kumar was nursing an ambition to become the prime minister of the country but he would not succeed as the people of Bihar has seen thorough his game.

Lalu alleged that Nitish Kumar is behaving like a zamindar and accused him of ignoring Veer Kuer Singh.

The former Railway Minister gave a call for the Magadh division bandh on May 22 to protest the murder of a mukhiya in Aurangabad district and subsequent police firing on the people who demand the arrest of the killer.
