Bihar cadre IPS Ranjit Sinha to be new CBI director

Patna,(BiharTimes): The director general of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Ranjit Sinha, would be the next director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI ).
According to the sources the 1974 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer would succeed A P Singh, who relinquishes the post on November 30.

Delhi Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar, who challenged in Central Administrative Tribunal the Central Vigilance Commission's decision not to include his name in the list for the top CBI post, has withdrawn his plea.
