Lathicharge on JD(U) workers at Nitish’s rally

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): The lathis of Nitish Kumar’s police do not differentiate. This was evident in Gaya on Tuesday afternoon when the police
lathi-charged Janata Dal (United) workers while they were on way to attend chief minister Nitish Kumar’s Adhikar Yatra. 

The situation turned ugly when some party workers, said to be carrying the JD(U) flags and placards in hands were about to enter the venue where Nitish Kumar was to address a pulic meting later in the day. An official deputed at the spot tried to prevent them from entering the venue. This sparked off a quarrel between the party workers and police. The police had to llathicrharge the JD(U) workers who started demanding action against the officer who tried to stop them from entering the venue.

Earlier on Monday chairs,shoes and chappals were thrown at Nitish Kumar’s rally in Nawada.
