Patna,(BiharTimes): The removal of black dupatta from the body of young girls and women during chief minister Nitish Kumar’s Adhikar Yatra at different places have created storm in the state with people questioning the very wisdom of those at the helm of affairs in the state.

Not to speak of political opponents even the state BJP president, Dr C P Thakur, said it is simply unbelievable. How can this happen? On the other hand RJD chief Lalu Yadav has expressed shock at the way the chief minister is behaving. First he asked people with umbrella and black dress not to enter the venue. Now he is not sparing even girls and women, he said.

The Mahua News, a private TV channel of Bihar, ran an hour long programme on the topic. Each and every person interviewed condemned the administration’s action.

However, Janata Dal (United) leader, Rajeev Ranjan, said that he had not seen the TV footage, therefore, could not say any such thing. Similar view was expressed by the Art and Culture Minister in the Nitish cabinet, Sukhda Pandey, who incidentally in from the BJP.

However, off the record each and every NDA leaders appeared upset over the way things are going in Bihar. After all how can they justify such an action.

Samrat Chaudhary of the RJD said that by getting dupatta removed from the body of girls and women Bihar will not get special status category.

While some termed the step as absurd others felt it was atrocious and condemnable.

“If he is so haunted by black why not take off black caps from the head of policemen around the chief minister,” one of them asked.
