Another Seemanchal leader flays Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): After having been in Janata Dal (United) for more than two years Seemanchal strongman, Taslimuddin, has been reminded that there is no difference between Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and his Gujarat counterpart, Narendra Modi.

Talking to media on Monday he came down heavily on Nitish by stating that he is just fooling the people of the state in general and of Seemanchal in particular. Bihar has gone back instead of developing, he said.

Though the four-time MP and former Union minister did not spell out anything about his home-coming to the RJD he dropped enough hint to state that he may contest the next Lok Sabha election from Araria as an Independent candidate. Perhaps he does not want to take on the sitting Congress MP, Maulana Asrar-ul-Haque, who defeated him in 2009 parliamentary election. It was after that defeat and on the eve of the 2010 Assembly election that Taslimuddin switched sides and went over to Janata Dal (United). Though he could not get ticket for himself he ensured JD(U) and BJP ticket for his near and dear ones.

Only on Sep 30, another Seemanchal leader, that is, BJP MP, Uday Singh, organized a huge rally in Purnea. He too criticized the Nitish government for complete failure on all fronts. He was extremely critical of the rampant corruption and loot and bureaucratization of the system. Almost the same charge was levelled by Taslimuddin.

Recently, another Janata Dal (United) MP, Captain Jai Narayan Nishad, strongly criticized the functioning of the Nitish Kumar government. Former minister and MLA Cheddi Paswan of the JD(U) and BJP legislator, Rameshwar Chaurasia strongly criticised Nitish Kumar’s style of functioning.
