Patna,(BiharTimes): Family feud notwithstanding when it comes to Biharis the Thackerays speak the same language. First Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray supported nephew and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on his stand against migrants. | Then, son Uddhav Thackeray wrote in support of their stand against Biharis. Uddhav said that a permit system should be implemented for Biharis who want to live in Mumbai. He said that if the Mumbai police need permission of the Bihar government to act then “we should implement the permit system.”

In the statement published in party mouth piece, Saamna, Uddhav came down heavily on Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar for interfering in the case related to the arrest of a youth from Sitamarhi in Bihar for his involvement in the Azad Maidan violence of August 11. He said that if Nitish comes in support of people who create mischief in Maharashtra, Sena would not back him as prime ministerial candidate in the future.

On the other hand Bal too backed Raj on the issue of Bihar chief secretary’s letter. The Shiv Sena chief said he had no business to interfere in the action taken by Mumbai police to arrest a person accused of violence at Azad Maidan. An editorial in Saamna, which is widely believed to communicate Thackeray’s stand on issues, termed the Bihar official’s letter to the state government as “meddling in law and order issues”.

This is the first time since the split six years back that Bal Thackeray has openly backed Raj’s statement.
