Congress asks Nitish to seek Shiv Sena’s ouster from NDA

Patna,(BiharTimes): Paying chief minister Nitish Kumar back in the same coin Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Qaiser, on Tuesday asked as to why not he call for the ouster of Bal Thackeray-led Shiv Sena from the National Democratic Alliance.

Talking to reporters in Patna he urged the Maharashtra government to take action against both Bal Thackeray and his son Uddhav as well as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief, Raj Thackeray, for their hate campaign and speeches against Biharis and North Indians.

Qaiser said that the Shiv Sena led by Bal Thackeray was at the root of the hate campaign against the Bihari migrants in Mumbai and Maharashtra. Whether it is the MNS chief Raj Thackeray or the Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, they are all the products of Bal Thackeray style of regional and chauvinistic politics.

If Nitish is so serious about the Bihari pride he should seek immediate ouster of the Shiv Sena from the NDA in order to teach the regional outfit a lesson about its hate campaign against the Bihar migrants and other North Indian settlers. However, the Congress leader expressed doubt that Nitish would ever take any such step as he is sitting in the lap of the BJP, the oldest and most trusted ally of Shiv Sena.
