          Patna,(BiharTimes): Reiterating that he would not seek votes if he fails to   provide electricity by 2015 chief minister Nitish Kumar said sincere efforts are   being made to improve power situation in Bihar and that in the next few years   power would no longer be a problem. 
 
 |  Speaking at the 68th annual general meeting of the Bihar Industries Association   (BIA) here on Monday evening, the CM said over 75 per cent proposals received by   the State Industrial Promotion Board are related to power. He said the Centre   was not cooperating in allocation of coal.
 Alluding to Coalgate scam he   said now coal is allotted to big people. Once diamond was the status symbol, now   it is coal.
 
 He held the previous state government responsible for not   staking claim for power from the NTPC’s Barh super thermal power station. Bihar   had got only 10 per cent share in power, which has now been increased to 25.6   per cnt in Stage I. Now, the state has been assured 50 per cent share from Stage   II, he said.
 
 Addressing the gathering UK-based industrialist Lord Karan   Bilimoria, who has set up a beer factory in Patna, said there is huge potential   in the state and outside investors were keen to come here.
 
 Industry   minister Renu Kumari Kushwaha the efforts of her department to solve the   problems of entrepreneurs.
 
 Earlier, BIA president K P S Keshri raised   various issues seeking their redressal.
