Nitish lays foundation stone of private medical college

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday laid the foundation stone of a private medical college hospital at Loma village in Jandaha block of Vaishali district.

Speaking on the occasion he said he is not aware of what is in store for future, but added that he would certainly fulfil the commitment to provide uninterrupted power supply to the state or else would not go to people to seek votes in 2015.

He made claims about good law and order situation and development of the state.

Dr Ajay Kumar, Physician, chairman of the Bhuwaneshwar Educational and Social Trust, under which the medical college is coming up, welcomed the guests.

“This new medical college will not only provide additional quality health service to a large areas of north Bihar but would also serve as an important research centre for new medicines in the health services” said Dr. Kumar the brain behind this initiative.

Others who were present on the occasion included health minister, Ashwini Choubey, education minister P K Shahi, Dr Anil Kumar, (who is also the elder brother of Ajay Kumar), President of the state IMA, Dr Arun Kumar Thakur, general secretary of BSHSA, Dr Ajay Kumar, Radiologist, Dr Ranjan Chaudhary etc.

Dr Rajiv Ranjan Prasad of PMCH conducted the programme.
