Singapore Foreign Minister calls on Nitish

 Patna,(BiharTimes): The visiting Singapore Foreign Minister K Shanmugam on Wednesday called on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday and discussed issues related to building of Nalanda University and ways to promote tourism.

The two leaders discussed issues related to development of Buddhist circuit and tourism in addition to changes taking place in Bihar.

Nitish informed him an International museum is being built in Patna for preserving Buddhist relics. 

The Foreign Minister, according to official statement, told the chief minister that Singapore government has all the support for building Nalanda University. 

The visiting minister also paid a visit to ruins of old Nalanda University and the site of the new International university. 

Singapore Acting High Commissioner in India Jonathan Tow and Indian ambassador in Singapore Gopinath Pillai were present.
