Bihar CM avoids comment on Durga Shakti Nagpal’s suspension

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday refused to comment on suspension and chargesheeting of the Greater Noida SDM Durga Shakti Nagpal by the Uttar Pradesh government. The action was taken after she had ordered the demolition of wall of a make-shift mosque early on July 27 last.

Talking to the media at his official residence after Janata Darbar he first tried to ignore the question and then replied that if any allegation is made against an official then it should be investigated.

He said he had nothing to say on the 29-year old IAS officer’s suspension and chargesheeting and added that if an allegation has been made against an official then it should be probed. However, he added that so far he was concerned he believes in rewarding a hardworking officer.
