Patna,(BiharTimes): After Patna Saheb MP Shatrughan Sinha’s remarks calling Bihar chief minister a ‘prime ministerial material’ Nitish Kumar on Monday
praised the Bihari Babu for his candid opinion.
Talking to the media he said Shatrughan Sinha is known for expressing free-wheeling opinion over current issues. This is a healthy tradition.
However, in a reply to an answer he said Shotgun has not given any signal that he is no more a part of BJP. The Patna Saheb MP is in BJP so it would not be proper for him to answer question on the cine-star joining JD(U), the chief minister added.
But countering him former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said Nitish should not harbour any illusion about Shatrughan Sinha crossing over to Janata Dal (United).
He claimed that the Bollywood star has been the inseparable part of the party as he has been with BJP from the very beginning when it was a party of just two MPs. He said that the Bihari Babu was never unhappy with the party so there is no question of mollifying him.
