And in Bihar CDPO suspended on charge of misbehaving with minister

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Nitish government on Tuesday suspended a Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) posted at Biddupur block in Vaishali district, Kavita Kumari, three weeks after she had a verbal duel with the visiting Social Welfare Minister, Parween Amanullah, on July 18.
It was alleged that the minister also slapped her during the inspection and when the lady CDPO went to lodge an FIR the police refused to accept it.
However, she has been suspended on the charge of “misbehaving” with the Social Welfare Minister and entering into an argument with her when the latter had gone there to inspect an Anganwadi Kendra just two days after the Masrakh mid-day meal tragedy on July 16.
On the other hand Kavitand rejected the charge and said “the minister, who is the wife of a senior bureaucrat, slapped me during her Vaishali visit.” She also accused the Minister of demanding a bribe of Rs 10 lakh through her personal staff when she came to inspect the Anganwadi Kendra at Biddupur.
Reports said after inspecting Anganwadi Kendras 53, 63, 64, 121, 123, 124 and 127, she reportedly slapped CDPO Kavita at Kendra 121, after giving her a verbal dressing-down in front of all present there.
It was reported then that Kavita rushed to the nearby police station to lodge an FIR against Parveen, in which she alleged that the minister had been demanding Rs 10 lakh from her, but as she was unable to oblige her Parween used objectionable words against her before slapping her publicly. As the complaint was against a minister, the officer-in-charge of the police station left the thana and the FIR could not be eventually lodged.
The following day when Parween was on way to Muzaffarpur district from Patna she was attacked by a mob in Vaishali district, who pelted stones on her car forcing her to return to the state capital.
If Kavita’s version is to be believed she is the victim of bureaucrat-politician combine and somewhat different from Durga Shakti Nagpal.
