Disrespect to martyrs: Police go ruling politicians’ way in Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): It is not only the politicians of Bihar who are insensitive towards those who sacrificed their lives on the border. Even the police lack it.
The police headquarters on Thursday sought a report from Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sachivalaya), Manish Kumar, who was in casual dress while making arrangements for arrival of bodies of martyr jawans at the airport in Patna on Wednesday night.
According to reports Inspector General of Police of Patna zone Sushil Khorpade ordered Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manu Maharaj to probe the matter and report to him on the conduct of DSP (Sachivalaya) as Jai Prakash Narayan Airport falls under his jurisdiction.
Video footage in TV channels and photos in newspapers on Thursday showed the DSP moving around at the airport in a T-shirt and track pant with a cap twisted backward while supervising arrangements for arrival of bodies of four martyrs. He was also seen laughing at least on one occasion.
