Post-June 16 CM’s Janata Darbar becoming more noisy

Patna,(BiharTimes): The snapping of ties seems to have its impact on the Janata Darbar of the chief minister, Nitish Kumar.
Gradually people converging to the chief minister’s residence at 1 Anne Marg are appearing more restive as well as aggressive. If a senior bureaucrat is to be believed this is so because those who come with their grievances know that the state government has become weak after June 16 split in the ruling National Democratic Alliance in the state.
But there is another factor too. As the chief minister Nitish Kumar is now holding all the portfolios held by 11 BJP ministers the problem is naturally going to be compounded. Now the deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi and others are not holding their own Darbars.
The August 19 Janata Darbar was one of the noisiest at his official residence in the last seven and a half years.
About one thousand strong people were even heard shouting at the officials for not taking their cases seriously. The complainants openly accused the ministers and officials of being apathetic towards their problems. Some of them were critical of the chief minister.
Most of them were angry with energy and agriculture departments headed by ministers Vijendra Yadav and Narendra Singh. The securitymen had a tough time removing many of them who squatted in protest.
