BJP flays Bihar Police for not interrogating Yasin Bhatkal

Patna,(BiharTimes): Different central intelligence agencies have been surprised by move of Bihar Police not to interrogate Yasin Bhatkal on Indian Mujahideen’s Darbhanga module.

Central intelligence agencies believe Yasin has a wide network in Bihar, particularly in the Darbhanga region. They even suspect that it was IM which was involved in the Mahabodhi Temple serial blasts though Yasin denied the role.

Reports said the Bihar Police was even reluctant to file a case against Yasin and that is why the National Investigation Agency registered the case.

It needs to be recalled that Yasin’s wife is originally from Bihar. Though his father-in-law had business in New Delhi he was from Samastipur district.

Meanwhile, BJP strongly criticized the Nitish Kumar government alleging that it was the worst form of votebank politics. It said that the Bihar Police did not interrogate keeping in mind the Muslim voters.
