Magadh Mahila College students win battle, but partially feel some |
Patna,(BiharTimes): The state government on Monday conceded to one of the main demands of the students of
Magadh Mahila College by agreeing not to block its entry. The decision followed a meeting held between a delegation of students and the chief secretary, Ashok Kumar Sinha, whose office later released a Press statement on Monday evening in this regard. Some faculty members, like Prof Sashi Sharma, and students are not satisfied as they are of the view that the presence of convention centre would not be good for the girls of the College. Sashi Sharma, , claimed that the centre would not only cause health problems but also affect the privacy of girl students. Her stand was supported by several students. The other demand of the students is for more space, which is unlikely to be met as the government is in no mood to cut down on this dream project of the chief minister.
