Aurangabad JD(U) MP calls on Rajnath Singh

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Janata Dal (United) MP from Aurangabad, Sushil Kumar Singh, created ripples in the political circle when he called on the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajnath Singh, in New Delhi on Monday.

Though both Sushil and Rajnath said that the meeting was just personal and has nothing to do with politics yet both of them, in their statements, left enough room for the media to speculate.

Accepting that Sushil had met him, Rajnath said that there are many leaders of different political parties, who are meeting him.

Sushil, on the other hand, told the media: “I went there to meet Rajnathji for some personal work and there was no other motive. So far speculation is concerned every one has right to do so. The meeting has nothing to do with politics.”

Meanwhile, the former Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, once again claimed that there are many MLAs of Janata Dal (United), who are in constant touch with the BJP leaders.

However, it would be too early to say as to who is joining the party. The fact is that the Janata Dal (United) leaders are realizing that Nitish Kumar has committed a political blunder by breaking ties with the BJP. Now it would be difficult for them to win. Besides, the situation has deteriorated so much in Bihar in the last six months that they do not want to remain in the party, he added.
