Montek, Nitish discuss plan size of Bihar

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): The visiting deputy chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia and chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday discussed the annual plan size of Bihar for 2013-14.
As reported the state had fixed a plan size of Rs 34,000 crore. The chief minister reportedly presented him a copy of the proposal, which was earlier sent to the Planning Commission.

The meeting took place at the forest department’s guesthouse at Rajgir and was also attended by education minister P K Shahi, Rajya Sabha MPs, N K Singh and R C P Singh, chief secretary Ashok Kumar Sinha, principal secretary, finance department, Rameshwar Singh, principal secretary, planning and development, Vijoy Prakash, staff officer to Planning Commission deputy chairperson, Arunish Chawla, secretary, road construction department, Pratyaya Amrit, chief minister’s secretary Atish Chandra and special secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh and other officials.
