Shivanand Tiwari once again rubs salt into BJP’s wound, backs Shinde’s statement
Patna,(BiharTimes): When the BJP leaders and workers are fuming all over the country Janata Dal (United) national spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari on Monday openly welcomed the statement given by home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde that Hindu terrorists were involved in many cases of terrorism in the recent years.
“Shinde didn’t say anything new. It came to light during the course of investigation of cases like Samjhauta Express and Malegaon blasts that Hindu terrorism had a role in these incidents. And all the accused persons were at one point of time or the other associated with RSS,” Tiwari was quoted in The Telegraph.
Though Tiwari is the national general secretary of the party too yet he hastened to add that his statement was his personal view and that his party had not discussed the home minister’s statement. But he maintained that JD(U), as a party, was dead against all forms of fundamentalism and the ideologies which promote acts of terrorism.
