It never happened during our 15 years’ rule: Lalu Prasad

Patna,(BiharTimes): The president of Rashtriya Janata Dal, Lalu Prasad Yadav, squarely blamed the Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party for Sunday’s blasts in Bodh Gaya.

He asked as to what was the state government doing when the explosions took place as the IB had long back alerted them. “What is happening in the state. In 15 years of our rule no such incident took place,” he said adding that BJP and JD(U) were both in the government and thus both are responsible for it.
He said that Giriraj Singh had just said that the IB inputs came nine months back. “Were not the BJP in power then,” he asked.

He questioned as to how can blasts take place inside the Mahabodhi Temple and called for thorough probe into the incident.

Lalu added another angle to the incident by stating that there was tussle going on for the control of Mahabodhi Temple Management Committee and that aspect should also be probed.
